PROJECTS

Read on for my proudest examples of the work I have created and led.

#DRAWALINE CAMPAIGN

In 2017, during the 16 Days of Activism, at UN Women UK we launched the #DrawALine campaign: bringing celebrities, politicians, members of the public together to demand an end to gender-based violence.

By Christmas, we'd reached an estimated 80 million people with this work, on a total project budget of around £5,000. We also got 18,000 supporters actively involved and achieved over 16,000 social media mention.

I went on to draw a physical orange line down the streets in Central London, engage corporate partners form my network in workplace strategies to help tackle violence against women, and produce an enormous artwork made up of the stories and pledges of thousands of individual campaigners.

SAFE SPACES NOW

Saf Spaces Now is a unique homegrown project by UN Women UK, bringing people and organisations together to tackle violence and harassment in our streets.

In Spring 2021 I will be running workshops with 400 women and girls to co-design public spaces and systems that are safer and more inclusive for the future. We've also surveyed 800 people and will poll another 2,000 women about their experiences and the change they'd like to see.

We want your voice to be part of this.

ATTACKED NOT DEFEATED INTERNATIONAL

I was asked by the incredible Phoebe Tansley, CEO and Founder of A.N.D. International to take up the role of Board Chair to help take this organisation through an intense period of transition. I led group sessions on values, vision and strategy to ensure A.N.D.'s important work continues to have an impact on justice for survivors of sexual violence in Uganda, long into the future.
